HOW IS INFORMATION PROTECTED?
eREC employs security at two levels: control of access to account information and security of transmission over the Internet.

Account information is stored within a highly secure, firewall-protected database with daily backups, ensuring seamless availability. Account access security is accomplished by the use of personal access codes: Transmission security is achieved by the use of a security standard used by government and financial institutions to transmit sensitive information, which includes the highest level of encryption, or data encoding, available.
